I'm excited to announce the grand opening of my DEBUT installation Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds. This multimedia art exhibit highlights more than 30 of my original fingerwoven belts, sashes, garters, etc., and introduces attendees to the basics and history of fingerweaving.
Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds will be on display at Niagara University's Castellani Art Museum from April 11th to October 2024.
Attendees will be able to participate in a hands-on interactive fingerweaving display and watch a 10-minute-long interview between me and the museum's curator.
Opening day for Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds will be on Thursday,
April 11th. Doors will open to the public at 5:30pm. Opening remarks start at 5:45
and a group tour of my exhibit starts around 6:40pm. If you would like to attend the grand opening of Weaving Hands / Planting
