Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds Art Installation

Monday, April 8, 2024

The grand opening of Marilyn Isaacs' exhibit called Weaving Hands and Planting Seeds will take place on April 11, 2024 at Castellani Museum in Niagara Falls, New York.

I'm excited to announce the grand opening of my DEBUT installation Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds. This multimedia art exhibit highlights more than 30 of my original fingerwoven belts, sashes, garters, etc., and introduces attendees to the basics and history of fingerweaving.

Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds will be on display at Niagara University's Castellani Art Museum from April 11th to October 2024.

Attendees will be able to participate in a hands-on interactive fingerweaving display and watch a 10-minute-long interview between me and the museum's curator.

Opening day for Weaving Hands / Planting Seeds will be on Thursday, April 11th. Doors will open to the public at 5:30pm. Opening remarks start at 5:45 and a group tour of my exhibit starts around 6:40pm.
