Pink and Blue Ombre Chevron Belt

This ombre belt is from my earlier days of fingerweaving when I was still using acrylic yarns. I made this belt for my granddaughter who was four years old at the time. My granddaughter received a custom-made dress for dancing and my daughter wanted a coordinating belt to go with it. I love how the belt and the dress complement each other. Even though my granddaughter is almost ready for middle school and now has lots of pretty dresses and belts, this particular belt and its matching dress will always have a special place in my heart.
